It's weird, the 'nobody recognizing you'. It felt like everybody always knew who I was in Gotham growing up, then I've recently kinda gone out of my way to be known in Blüdhaven. So being able to walk around a city without at least somebody asking me about family or wanting to shake my hand or give me an earful about...whatever's on their mind? It's kinda nice. Still weird, but nice.
No, I get that. I never blamed you for it. I know I wasn't always a great guy to you back home, either, so I got needing to get your own feet under you before dealing with all the people from home, too. I am, of course, terrible at staying back and not involving myself with other people when I should give myself some grace, but I'm forever trying to land on my feet.
